Artwork
I make paintings or drawings on panels, walls and other surface often in relation to the given architecture of a space or intervention into a space. Non Objective lines and shapes, from simple geometric to meandering open form made through collage and stencil and other process. The whole, spill & containment, leaks, disruption, destruction, order and disorder, decorative pattern or abject stain. Artwork can be large-scale or in smaller parts, artworks are arranged within a given space and that space may be altered or adapted in relation to an artwork.

A Recent Artwork:
‘Filler’ is an artwork made for Exeter Phoenix’s 333 gallery space. A drawing or painting inhabits a space far smaller than its dimensions, the paper surface is transferred onto 4 slowly moving cylinders and the whole image is seen in parts while moving around the space, a painting becomes a kinetic sculpture imitating simple mechanical form.
